Engineering - EAMCET Entrance Exam

One of the state Universities conducts Engineering, Architecture, Agricultural & Medical Common Entrance Test (E A M C E T) for admission to B.E / B.Tech (Agri / Engg / Dairy Technology) / BArch) in all engineering and medical colleges including Private as well as minority institutions affiliated to the University of Andhra, Kakatiya, Nagarjuna, Acharaya NG Ranga Agricultural, JNTU, Osmania, Sri Krishnadevaraya , Sri Venkateswara and Regional Engineering College for AP quoto seats.

Eligibility - EAMCET Entrance Exam

Inter exam (10 + 2) with Math's, Physics and Chemistry as optional or Vocational courses in Engg & Tech of Intermediate Education, AP or Dip exam in Engg/Architecture of the State Board of Technical Education & Training or its equivalent. Those who have appeared in the qualifying exam are also eligible.

Age - EAMCET Entrance Exam

Minimum 16 years on Dec.31 of the year of admission. Candidates must be of Indian nationality. Admission is open to residents of the State of Andhra Pradesh.

Free Seats

All seats in Govt./University colleges and 50% seats in the Private Colleges.

Payment Seats - EAMCET Entrance Exam

50 % of seats in private engineering colleges which include NRI candidates also.

Reservation - EAMCET Entrance Exam

EAMCET Entrance Exam of Seats is for SC/ST/BC/Physically handicapped, Games & Sports, NCC, children of Ex-serviceman / Defence personnel, Anglo Indian Community as per rules.

Selection - EAMCET Entrance Exam

EAMCET Entrance Exam is made according to the merit in EAMCET. The test consists of multiple choice object type questions in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates who seek admission to 5-year BArch course have to appear for an Aptitude test separately, after qualifying the EAMCET. The aptitude test is conducted at JNTU, School of planning & Architecture, Hyderabad during September.
